Nike HyperAdapt 1.0

Nike HyperAdapt 1.0

"Over, under, around and through,Meet Mr. Bunny Rabbit, pull and through.
This phrase will soon become history as Nike announced that they will be releasing the very first self-lacing shoe, the HyperAdapt 1.0!

The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is a new breakthrough and also a glimpse to future fashion. The adaptive lacing technology simply assimilates deep research in mechanical and digital engineering perspectives into a simple footwear. This technology proposes an ultimate solution to individual preference in lacing and tension preference..

According to Tiffany Beers, the senior innovator of Nike, the technology functions when the foot is stepped into the shoe and when the heel hits the  sensor which triggers the system to automatically tighten up (kinda like how a venus flytrap catches it's prey). One can then adjust the tension via the two buttons on the side until it's perfect.

And here is a video by Jacques Slade on a life demo of the footwear!

In my opinion, this is a really good breakthrough in terms of fashion and technology. Not only it eliminates the troublesome process of tying up our shoelaces (especially for people with bad motor skills like me), it also provides better comfort for walking or running. It can also help enhance the abilities of profession athletes as it eliminates a multitude of distractions.

The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available only to members of Nike+ beginning Holiday 2016 in 3 different colors. For more information visit the Nike official website here!

Thank You.
